Support the Class of 2028

Give the Class of 2028 A Running Start To Their University Education

This December, a group of twenty-five Harpswell students and staff are teaming up to raise $85,000 for the incoming Class of 2028 by running in the Angkor Wat 5k and Half Marathon. Twenty-one ambitious young women will be joining the Harpswell community at the end of the year, many of whom are the first in their family to attend university. Will you join us in paving the way for these new changemakers?

No one understands the nerves and excitement of first joining the Harpswell community like our current students. That’s why there is no one better to champion the brilliant young women of the Class of 2028, who were selected from a group of over 300 applicants in our most competitive admissions cycle to date. Through this run, second, third and fourth-year students are fundraising to give their incoming sisters a running start to their university years, helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment in our leadership centers. The run is also a chance for these current students to experience a deeply meaningful part of their cultural heritage in a new way, as well as build healthy habits to keep their minds and bodies strong.

Your support will make a significant impact. Each and every dollar donated will go directly towards covering the $85,000 cost of the Class of 2028’s first year in Harpswell’s Phnom Penh leadership centers. As they prepare to embark on this exciting chapter of their lives, your generosity will ensure these young leaders have all they need to grow as change makers, from healthy meals and medical insurance to up-to-date technology and critical thinking classes.
