Support the Class of 2029

Help the Class of 2029 Take Their First Step Toward Leadership

In December, Harpswell students, staff and supporters are taking on the Angkor Wat 5k and Half Marathon with one goal in mind: raising $77,900 for the Class of 2029.

Very soon, 19 remarkable young women will join Harpswell as the newest members of our family.

Coming from more than 14 rural provinces across the Kingdom, many are the first in their families to attend university, and all were chosen from one of the most competitive applicant pools in our history. Our new cohort will be studying at universities across Phnom Penh in courses ranging from Medicine, Law and Engineering to IT, Architecture and International Relations.

Like a marathon, their new chapter studying and living away from their families and communities will have challenges and triumphs and will require focus and resilience, but with your help, it can begin with confidence, strength and a supportive community.

Our current students and alumnae know firsthand how transformative the Harpswell experience is and the positive impact gained. That’s why they are leading the way, running to raise funds that will cover the essentials for their incoming sisters and ensure the Class of 2029 has the resources to thrive and become purpose-led and values driven leaders

Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the Class of 2029 in their first year at Harpswell, including but not limited to:

◈ Critical thinking, civic engagement and leadership classes that prepare them to be changemakers
◈ Nutritious daily meals to keep students healthy and focused
◈ Medical care and insurance so they can study without worry
◈ Safe housing in our residential leadership centers with a supportive sisterhood
◈ Up-to-date technology and internet access for academic success
◈ Mentorship and academic enrichment programs that broaden horizons and open opportunities

Every step taken by our runners brings the Class of 2029 closer to a brighter future

Join us in giving the Class of 2029 a powerful running start to their university years and to their future as changemakers.
